  1. I also have to applaud Toni Graphia on fantastic writing. It wouldn’t be surprising if a lot of Outlander fans found themselves rewatching this repeatedly. I think I may have watched this episode over a dozen times if not less. This episode is by far the best written in the season, including the following two episodes afterwards.

Toni Graohia did a good job with writing transitions from scene to scene. There were, for sure, some areas in the episode that were somewhat questionable, such as Mary Hawkins’ time at the hospital. It was slightly disappointing that you both didn’t elaborate on Murtagh and Fergus’ conversation about women and such. This scene seems to be such a prominent scene in developing the relationship between the two characters.

The highlight of the episode was Claire and Jamie finding each other again and Jamie opening up to Claire. The write and producers could have adapted the scene in a smiling manner that Diana Gabaldon created it by having the whole scene take place in front of the fire. What do you both think?

I’m definitely looking forward to what Toni Graphia’s work will reveal in future episodes and of course Diana Gabaldon’s episode 11 she wrote.

Let us know what you think! :)
