Some of our favorite moments of this episode included Claire OWNING her witchiness.

"Witch I am!"

“Witch I am!”

"I curse you!"

“I curse you!”

Black Jack’s reaction to her curse is priceless.

With the sensitive subject matter, I wasn’t sure what to expect.Well done. The actors, writers, directors know and love their craft. It shows! The roller coaster of emotions kept the anticipation high.

  2. Natasha Williams says:

Great episode, if difficult to watch. Loved your comments as well. One point I feel compelled to make – it took me a bit out of the commentary to hear repeated remarks about Jamie and others being “hung”. I believe people are “hanged” at the gallows; whether or not they are “hung” is a matter of being well-endowed?! As in Blackjack Randall is hung 😉 Anyway, just thought I’d point that out prior to further discussions of hangings. Can’t wait until Episode 16 and to hear your thoughts on it. Love the podcast!!

Natasha, that’s funny you mention that… Last week, G went out of her way to say “hanged.” I think the shock of “Wentworth Prison” literally made us forget proper English 🙂
Thank you for listening! Stay tuned for the next episode 😉

Very sensitively done. Great performances. Nothing gratuitous. TERRIBLE, horrific, but not gratuitous or voyeuristic. And talk about a cliff hanger ending! My husband and I screeched , “Noooooooooo!” Thank you to cast, crew, costume designers, etc. for all the amazing hard work and dedication bringing this to a series onscreen. Good (again, terrible) addition, that line by BJR, “You and I will remember this for the rest of our lives.”

    Really enjoyed the Podcast.

  5. Ronit says:

Amazing acting – I thought it would be harder to watch. Hate to wait 2 weeks for finale but would love a nice 2 hour
    Can you say EMMY

  6. Revliesel says:

You left out one of my favorite scenes when after BJR says something about not giving into base passions (yet….), Tobias stops, closes his eyes, flattens his hair back with his hands while taking a deep breath. Powerful.

  7. Pamela Scinto says:

I am Transported as well as Transfixed by everything Outlander! Cast, crew, writers, producers, directors, sets, costumes! As I said, EVERYTHING! Episode 115 was executed magnificently albeit extremely difficult to watch. I can’t even imagine where these actors had to go to bring these horrific scenes to life. In my opinion, Outlander is one of the best and most unusual series I can remember! And that’s saying something… I’m 65! Television was a fairly new invention when I was a toddler! Keep up the SUPERLATIVE WORK!

  8. Patrick Vuillemin says:

What is captain Black Randall chewing ?he always has something to chew. Looks a bit to yankee for a Brit in 1763.

    • outlanderpod says:

Patrick, thank you for leaving a comment! We actually don’t think Tobias is chewing anything. We believe its an affectation he’s added to the character. Perhaps it’s his tongue?

Let us know what you think! :)
