‘Outlander’ opening sequence – green glen

Earlier today, we ran across a post from Outlander TV News that laid out that site’s spoiler policy. Realizing we hadn’t explicitly provided our own, Sarah was kind enough to allow us to use hers as a jumping-off platform. (No, really. It’ll be very, very similar.)

As the season progresses, this policy may change.

The Outlander Podcast is produced by two long-time fans who are thrilled to see the Starz series. We respect that there will both those who have and will not have have read Diana Gabaldon’s books. As such, we will do our best to maintain a spoiler-free space here on our site, as well as on our Facebook page.

Most of our review/recap information will be in the form of our weekly episodes uploaded closest to the time of the original air date. This means our first detailed discussion of an episode will be Sunday, August 10th, 2014, after the official premiere on Starz, Saturday, August 9th.

We encourage comments and discussion of the episode, of our show, etc., following the post about that specific episode once it has aired. Please label all comments speculating on future episodes as “spoilers.” This applies to comments on our Facebook posts also. Comments not adhering to this will be deleted.

We will not be live-tweeting or live-Facebooking the episodes, and we would encourage everyone to not do this also.  Not everyone in the world is seeing these episodes at the same time, and it is unfair to spoil it for those who have not seen it yet.

Neither will we be GIFing or screen-capping the episodes.  Only official images provided to press and the public will be used.  Previews of new episodes or other promotional videos are the exceptions.

If you want to stay completely spoiler-free, please stay off social media.

Questions, comments, or suggested changes on this policy are welcome!
