Please check Summer’s microphone before the next episode. I really would have liked to be able to hear her comments, too.

  2. Char says:

Regarding Jamie knowing about Leery’s (that’s how it’s pronounced, just FYI) involvement in the witch trial, I just went back and watched “The Devil’s Mark” on DVD.

While it is true that he knows about the ill-wish, Leery’s trial testimony in the TV series happens well before he arrives on the scene. And while she is shown in the crowd as he rescues Claire, it’s doubtful he saw her. Also, Claire doesn’t mention her while talking to Jamie afterward.

Though it’s certainly possible that they write the show with Jamie somehow having full knowledge of Leery’s role, it’s also very possible that he doesn’t, and they can keep the situation as it is in the book. An ill-wish isn’t exactly the same as luring Claire into going to Geillie’s house.

    Just a thought.
