Love the show, girls! It’s fun getting other’s perspectives. We know pronunciation is going to differ from one person to another regarding foreign words, (unless you know that language), but I didn’t think something so simple as a name would. I was pleasantly surprised to hear you pronounce Marsali the same way I say it in my head: Mar – sal – ee. Last year I came across an interview with DG and she pronounced it Marss – a – lee with a se sound, not like the planet Mars. So now when I am reading my inner voice switches back and forth between the two. What confusion! I do like the way Mar – sal – ee sounds over the way DG says it, but I guess since it’s her character, I should try to say it her way. Sigh… What do you guys think?

We are split, as is reflected in our pronunciations. G sticks with Davina’s pronunciation, and S is going with the “newer” one, that rhymes with “parsley.”

Let us know what you think! :)
