About Eighty Days to Elsewhere: Born and raised in New York, Ramona Keene has never left the city, except for one school trip ages ago. She's perfectly content working at her uncles' quaint bookstore, reading all the books and drinking all the tea she wants–at least, that's what she tells herself. In reality, Romy wants nothing more than to go to photography school and travel to Paris, the most charming, romantic city, full of rich history.

When the new owner of the bookstore's building arrives with his Evil Nephew in tow, Romy's life comes crashing down. He has come with the warning that the rent will be tripled, something her uncles can't afford. Then, she sees an ad for a job opportunity: Ex Libris Expeditions, a company that re-creates literary journeys. She jumps at the chance to interview, where she discovers a client who wants to follow Phileas Fogg's journey from Jules Verne's Around the World in 80 Days. Romy's job is to retrace the protagonist's footsteps across the globe and plan a suitable, contemporary adventure for the client. And she only has thirty days to complete this. Equipped with a smartphone, prepaid credit card, and per diem–no commercial aircraft permitted–she embarks on her first journey ever.

Can Romy make it around the world in thirty days, and can she do so with an unexpected adversary competing for the same job she needs to save her uncles' store? And what happens when attraction blooms between the two–how can she fall for someone who may be the death of her dreams?

About the author: kc dyer loves to travel. When she's not on the road, she resides in the wilds of British Columbia where she likes to walk in the woods and write books.
